Welcome to Cynthia Shaver Asian Art Appraiser Newsletter August 2024,

Thank you for your time.

In July, by pure accidental luck, I, alone, toured the Phoenix Kingdom exhibit with Natasha Reichle, curator of S E Asian Art of the Asian Art Museum, and a friend Donna, who had never been to the Asian Art Museum.  I truly express gratitude for this experience.  I have never been so up-close to so many wonderful bronze vessels.  New to my eye, were the depictions of elephants, their trunks so willingly given for decoration.  Thank you, Natasha, for your time and your friendship over twenty years at the Asian Art Museum.
