Welcome to Cynthia Shaver Asian Art Appraiser Newsletter June 2020,

Thank you for subscribing to my Newsletter.

I have been sheltering in place in my postage stamp of paradise here in Belvedere.  I’ve planted an herb garden in blue ceramic pots on our deck.  I haven’t had a container garden like this before, and I am thrilled to see everything so healthy.  I can’t post photos with this newsletter or it would be littered.   Check out my posts on Instagram and you’ll understand      Cynthia Shaver@Instagram

My small Japanese textile collection, around 20 pieces, is for sale. Please contact if interested, sold only as group.  No silks.

This is a happy post “guess who’s coming into see the art”
 moment. https://www.prevention.com/life/a32580936/penguins-nelson-atkins-art-museum-video

This exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, because of the pandemic, hasn’t been seen by as many international visitors as hoped.      =-= Part I of four.  It is excellent.

And out of nowhere, rock star Randy Meisner of Eagles fame was from Scottsbluff, Nebraska, my hometown.  He married my sister’s friend Jennifer.  Sort of a ‘small world’ story.
