It has been an eventful month. I am an overnight success as appraiser of Asian Art after a lifetime (four plus decades) involved in Asian Art. I am busy with written appraisal reports through the end of October.

Years before, I used to get inquires about Chinese Ming porcelain, everyone was finding the next imperial Ming vase in their garage. Now Chinese contemporary paintings, particularly ink paintings, are coming ‘out of the woodwork’.
